 Climaveneta and Eurovent united for efficiency
Mr Carlo Grossi, vice president of Eurovent association and long time member of the board of directors of Eurovent Certification Company, is the new President of the Eurovent Association.
Mr Grossi is Climaveneta Spa Chief Executive Officer and Director of the holding company De'Longhi Professional, that manages the activities of B2B De'Longhi Group, focused on solutions for comfort and temperature control in both commercial and industrial processes.
Founded in 1958, then called CECMA, Eurovent today represents 14 national associations of the HVACR sector at European level. Eurovent works in a collegial and democratic way, each association is placed on the same level with the others.
In 1995 Eurovent founded certification programs in Europe for the air conditioning industry in order to contribute to the improvement of HVAC products. Certification of performance helps end users to choose more efficient solutions, contributing to market development and providing a unique platform for user evaluations. Certification is granted by a control system that operates in an honest way where users are also represented. |
